About Us
Florida Floyd Pool Services has been keeping Tampa Bay pools clean and beautiful since 2022. We specialize in residential pool maintenance — showing up on time, every week, no excuses.
We are a Certified Pool Operator (CPO) team and proud members of the Pool & Hot Tub Alliance. We use only high-quality chemicals and equipment, and treat every pool like it's our own.
Meet The Owner
I'm Yerbol — originally from Kazakhstan, and I moved my family to the U.S. to build something of our own — the honest version of the American dream: show up, do the work right, treat people well.
Before I took this business over, I worked and learned the trade at a small, family-run pool service right here in Tampa — and I fell in love with it. I made a deliberate choice not to turn Florida Floyd into a big impersonal franchise. It's just me and one trusted technician, the same two faces every week, not a rotating cast of strangers. I believe people don't really change, so I'd rather work with a small team I know than grow fast and lose that. If you're a client, you'll usually talk to me directly. That's on purpose.

Every visit includes skimming debris off the surface, brushing walls and steps, vacuuming the floor, emptying skimmer and pump baskets, backwashing or cleaning the filter as needed, and testing/balancing chemicals (pH, chlorine, alkalinity). We check equipment for issues each visit and leave a service note after every stop so you always know exactly what was done.

Yes — green-to-clean algae treatment is one of our core services. We assess the pool, shock and treat the water, brush and vacuum out dead algae, and bring it back to crystal clear, usually within a few days depending on severity. After that, a regular weekly plan keeps it from happening again.
